2010-07-13 Kiwa launches new Business Sector Energy using Products

Electricity plays an important role on the energy market and Kiwa’s activities in that field were limited; as of old Kiwa’s main role is in the field the building and gas industry. Among other reasons, due to acquisitions and cooperation associations in Italy, Sweden, Germany and the United Kingdom, Kiwa has strengthened its position on the international EuP market.

‘The energy market is very international, because of which there is a strong need for an international institute for examination and certification.’says Ronald Karel, Kiwa manager EuP. ‘Currently, for example, a Chinese producer aiming at the European and American market, still hires a Chinese expert to test his production facilities and a European expert to certify his products in Europe. Kiwa can do both.’
